Woman Strikes Man with Riding Lawnmower – S.O. Report

S.O. Report for Friday, April 5, 2019

Burglary of a Habitation, Terroristic Threat and a Public Nuisance are the three reports in recent days made by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and released in a report on Friday, April 5.

On April 1, 2019, a Deputy was dispatched to Oak Meadow Dr. in May, Texas in regards to a burglary of habitation.  Upon arrival, the Deputy met with a man who said he was feeding the animals while the owner of the residence was out of town.  He had arrived to feed the animals and noticed the residence had been burglarized.  A report was made.

On April 3, 2019, a Deputy traveled to County Road 605 to serve a Criminal Trespass Warning to a man.  While serving the Warning, a public nuisance report was made.

A Deputy was dispatched to Lakeshore Drive at May, Texas in reference to a report of Disorderly Conduct.  The complainant advised a female neighbor was trespassing on his property.  When the man confronted the woman, she struck him with the lawnmower she was riding and her son threatened the man.  A report was made.

S.O. Report for Thursday, April 4, 2019

On April 3, 2019 at approximately 8:28 pm, a Deputy went on a follow-up investigation on a subject.  A Criminal Trespass was issued to an unwanted subject.  A report was made.

On April 3, 2019, at approximately 2:03 am, a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a gold Cadillac passenger care.  The driver of the vehicle was identified.  A consent search was done on the vehicle.  A total of 0.6 grams of marijuana was located within the vehicle.  After being detained and Mirandized, the man admitted to possessing the marijuana.  He was ultimately arrested for Possession of Marijuana <2 oz in a Drug Free Zone, Class A Misdemeanor.
