The following statement was released Tuesday by the May ISD concerning a threat to the school.

On Monday, April 15th an anonymous note was found in May High School. This threat was directing harm to the school on Thursday, April 18th. Brown County Sheriff Department was immediately notified to begin investigation.
We take any threat seriously and take steps to prevent any incident. Student and staff safety is most important to May ISD. We will have Brown County Sheriff Department visible on campus during the timeline of this threat.
