Commissioners approved renewal of the contract with the County Information Resources Agency for the Brown County website. The cost is $800 annually, no increase from last year.
Commissioners were scheduled to open bids for asphalt products, crushed stone products and cold mix, blasting and crushing. Bids were received by Friday, but Friday, April 19, was also a county holiday, which means today, April 22, at 5 pm is the deadline for bids. “If the closing date is a holiday, it goes until the next regular business day so, if that’s the case, then today (Mon. 4/22) at 5 o’clock would be the closing date,” said Gary Worley, Commissioner. Commissioners voted to open the bids at their next meeting on Monday, April 29.
In other business, no action was taken on the Burn Ban meaning the Burn Ban in Brown County remains off at this time.
