The following Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report was submitted on Monday, April 22, 2019.
On Sunday, April 14, 2019, at approximately 1722 hours, 911-operators contacted an officer by radio stating a victim wanted a phone call from the Police Department. The complainant stated her vehicle tires were slashed by a known person.
On Monday, April 15, 2019, at approximately 1618 hours, an Officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood business in reference to Child Abuse/Neglect. Upon officer arrival, they made contact with an employee. An information report was generated and completed.
On April 17, 2019 at 0616 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Coggin Avenue in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicles. Dispatch informed the officer the complainant’s vehicle was broken into, along with other vehicles. Dispatch added there was a firearm stolen from the complainant’s vehicle.
On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at approximately 0720 hours, an Officer was flagged down by a subject. He was a fuel pump technician and was calibrating diesel pump #5, then identified a suspicious object inside the fuel pump. This event occurred at 2800 Southside, Food Plaza #9.
On Thursday, April 18, 2019, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Indian Creek Drive for a report of family violence. When officers arrived, the aggressor was no longer on scene. Information was gathered from the victim and a report was generated.
On Thursday, April 18, 2019 at approximately 1628 hours, an Officer arrived at the LEC in reference to a report of an offensive touch.
On April 18, 2019, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regards to a domestic disturbance, which resulted in a report for Assault being generated.
On Friday, April 19, 2019 at approximately 1849 hours, Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to 2601 Crockett Drive (BRMC) in reference to a subject with an accidental gunshot wound to the leg. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.
On April 19, 2019 Brownwood Police responded to a south side business in reference to a theft. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing.
On April 20, 2019 at approximately 0001 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to Whataburger (411 E Commerce St) in reference to DUI. A traffic stop was conducted and a male subject was issued a citation for DUI Minor. A report was generated.
On April 20, 2019 at approximately 11:33 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vincent Avenue for a burglary call. Police made contact with complainant and a report was made for Burglary of a Habitation.
On April 20, 2019 at approximately 1839 hours, an Officer met with two subjects in the 2200 block of Vine Street in reference to theft. A report has been completed for felony theft.
On April 20, 2019 Brownwood Police responded to a south side residence in reference to a report of a burglary. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing.
On April 20, 2019, Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to the 4400 block of Redbird Drive in reference to a disturbance/DWI. Officers spoke with the reporting parties. One was arrested for Public Intoxication, Class C Misdemeanor.
On April 21, 2019 at approximately 0030 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the corner of West Main Blvd and Hickory Street. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more.
On April 21, 2019 at approximately 0230 hours, Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to 1204 Campa Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, a man was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury – Family Violence. He was taken to the Brown County Jail.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 0515 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Austin Avenue. After a short investigation one subject was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 0748 hours, an Officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood business in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival the Officer met with the complainant who advised that, sometime during the night, her window on her front door was broken out. The complainant stated she did wish to pursue charges. A report was generated and completed.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence for an assault report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
On April 21, 2019 Brownwood Police responded to a north side residence in reference to an assault. A report was generated.
On April 22, 2019 Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 500 block of Bailey Street which led to the arrest of a known male.
Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Main Blvd which resulted in the arrest of a known male for Failure to Identify.
