A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Wednesday evening for the following counties:
Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Shackelford, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor and Tom Green.
Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches will fall across much of West Central Texas with isolated totals over 5 inches possible.
Focus will be mainly south of an Albany to Sweetwater line and includes the KOXE/KBWD listening area.
City streets in Abilene, San Angelo, Brownwood, Sweetwater, Brady and other locations may become flooded and impassable. Low water crossings and other pool drainage areas may flood as well as small creeks and streams.
