Early voting started Monday, April 22, but so far the turnout has been light.  KOXE/KBWD news stopped by the Brown County Elections Office Thursday morning.  According to Larry Franks, Elections Administrator, he’s surprised the turnout has been low.  “Monday we only had 29, Tuesday we had 40 and then Wednesday, the rain day, we had 17.  Now here we are Thursday at 9:30 am and only 4 have shown up,” Franks said.  Early voting hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm today (Thursday) and Friday.  Early voting hours are extended this coming Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, at the Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk, Suite 200.  “We really need people to come vote,” Franks added.
