The Mills County Chamber of Commerce presents the 22nd Annual Goldthwaite State Championship BBQ & Goat Cook-Off Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, at Goldthwaite City Park. Activities are numerous Friday and Saturday:
FRIDAY
- Nocker balls for the kids
- Body by Design Kids Color Run 5:30 to 6:30 pm
- Texas Farm Bureau Kids Pork Chop Championship 4:30 to 7:30 pm
- People’s Choice Appetizers 5:30 to 7:30 pm
- Lion’s Club Fish Friday 4:30 to 5:30 pm
- Dance in the Park Under the Stars – Big Daddy Band 8:00 to 11:00 pm
- Bounce Houses
SATURDAY
- 5K Color me Krazy Run 9:00 am at the Courthouse
- Southside Tavern Bloody Mary Challenge & Margarita Meltdown 10:00 am
- Yoga in the Park with Savannah – 10:00 am
- Best Dressed Goat Contest – 2:00 pm
- Washer Tourney 8:00 pm
MC Area – Go Texan will be serving Goat Meat on Saturday
