Brown County Fire Marshal Resolution Back Before Commissioners Monday

Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, April 29, in Commissioner’s Courtroom at the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda follows:

  • Citizen presentations
  • Consider approval of minutes of April 22nd meeting
  • Consider approval of payment of any bills needed
  • Paul Lilly, County Judge – Discussion and possible approval of drafting a new resolution to authorize the position of and create a job description for the office of Brown County Fire Marshal
  • Precincts 1,2, 3 and 4 Commissioners – Consideration and possible approval to accept bids for Asphalt products, crushed stone and cold mix products and blasting and crushing of stone
  • Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1 – Consideration and possible approval of an application to install a private line on Vick Drive by Brookesmith SUD
  • Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1 – Discussion on the reasons Brown County Resolution 2019-01 was rescinded
  • Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consider and possible approval of action regarding Burn Ban
  • Matt Krischke, Brown County Information Technology – Consideration and possible approval of enrolling Brown County in Warrant Now
  • Vance Hill, Brown County Sheriff – Presentation of Jail Report
  • Vance Hill, Sheriff – authorization to accept donations for restoration of the SWAT vehicle
  • Don King, County Surveyor – Consider and possibly approve any actions necessary to update and standardize the process to file subdivision plats. Revisions will include filing and surveying fees, introducing written procedures to standardize processes for developers, and clarifying which surveying services will incur additional fees.
  • Don King, County Surveyor – Consider and possibly approve authorizing the County Judge to sign a deed conveying Connell Cemetery to the Connell Cemetery Association
  • Stacy Tennison, Salvation Army Center Manager – Presentation of report on Salvation Army activities in Brown County
