An incumbent Brownwood City Council member was defeated, the incumbent Early Mayor won by a large margin and two city street taxes were approved in Blanket and Bangs.

Bangs City Council – Sheila Roberts 56, Gregory E. MacDonald 29
City of Bangs Proposition (Street Tax) – For 56, Against 28
City of Blanket Proposition (Street Tax) – For 47, Against 5
The voter turnout was very low, 577 of 13,243 registered voters in Brown County cast a ballot or only 4.36% of voters turned out.
