The Brownwood Municipal Development District Board of Directors will meet at 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 7, at Brownwood City Hall, 501 Center Avenue. Among the agenda items:
- Discussion and possible approval of funding for improvements to Riverside Park
- Discussion and possible approval of funding for welding training through Central Texas Opportunities (CTO)
- Financial reports including income statement, loan and incentive summary and sales tax.
- Director’s report on employment statistics, Senate Bill 1367 Update, project updates and activity
- Presentation by VRC Technologies
- Executive Session for consultation with Attorney, deliberations regarding economic development negotiations. A. The Board will discuss a Building Improvement Incentive Program Grant for a new local business. B. The board will discuss a Building Improvement Incentive Program Grant for Infrastructure Incentive for the relocation of a business to Brownwood. C. The Board will discuss an expansion incentive for a local manufacturing company. D. The Board will discuss an incentive for the development of offices for Texas Tech University in Brownwood. E. The Board will discuss an incentive for a residential development.
- The Board will reconvene into Regular Session to take any action deemed necessary as a result of the Executive Session.
