Woman Arrested After Urinating in Public

The following reports were released by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at approximately 1006 hours, a Deputy observed a woman step out of her home and urinate in public view.  The woman was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.  A report was made.  The incident happened on Brin Street in Brownwood.

On May 7, 2019, at approximately 1221 hours, a Deputy was advised of a civil matter in Thunderbird Bay.  The incident was documented in an information report.

On May 7, 2019, a Corporal with the S.O. performed a traffic stop at Heartland Mall for expired registration.  The female driver consented to a vehicle search and eventually admitted to having a meth pipe in her bra.  The pipe was found to contain heavy methamphetamine residue.  The woman was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1<1 Gram in a Drug Free Zone and Driving While License Invalid.

On May 8, 2019 a Brown County S.O. Deputy responded to an unwanted cat at FM 590 in Zephyr.  The Deputy met with the caller who said a cat had ran and hid under his chair.  In trying to get the cat out, the male complainant was bitten.  The man said he would catch the cat in the morning after getting a trap from a friend to have the cat sent for a rabies test.  A report was done for the bite.
