Brown County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly, has tasked his staff with providing grant-writing support to all Brown County Volunteer and Municipal Fire Departments who plan to apply for the Wink-to-Webster Pipeline FIRST RESPONDER GRANT.
W2W will award grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 to selected applicants. To be eligible, a fire fighting/public safety organization must be a U.S. 501(C)3, with priority given to organizations located within 30 miles of the pipeline. The pipeline will extend from the northwest corner of Brown County to midway through the eastern side. Successful applicants will demonstrate a lasting and measurable impact to the community and directly benefit the safety and preparedness of first responder.
Judge Lilly strongly supports Volunteer and Municipal Fire Departments in their mission to protect life and property. W2W has already received one grant request from Brown County and anticipates receiving more.
