Brown County residents can have a new smoke alarm installed in their home, free of charge, simply by calling a number and signing up.

The American Red Cross, with sponsorship by Texas Bank, are making these smoke alarms possible.  Local Red Cross volunteers, Texas Bank employees and Early High School Key Club members, will fan out across the county in teams on Saturday, October 12, installing smoke alarms.
