The Brownwood Fire Department received two calls for service early Thursday morning.

The first call was to the 2700 block of Cleburne Street.  According to Fire Marshal, Buddy Preston, there was an electrical issue in the attic.  Firemen took care of the situation and cleared the scene within 45 minutes.

They next responded to Brookshire’s Food Store on Austin Avenue.  A smoking fan was found.  “All good,” according to Preston. Units cleared the scene just before 7:30 am.
