Maria Elena Pineda, age 49, of May passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, in Dallas.

Maria will be laid to rest in the May Cemetery with private family graveside services. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Maria is survived by her children, Becky Pineda of Early, Jose Enrique Pineda of Coppers Cove, and Abbygail Elena Pineda of Early;  her grandson, Brody Ezekiel Pineda; mother, Julia Marin of May; siblings, Maria Socorro Carreon and husband Juan Gabriel of Mexico, Rosa Marin and husband Juan Castillo of Brownwood, Salud Marin of Belton, Miguel Marin of Brownwood, Victor Marin and wife Shadie Hernandez of Brownwood, Veronica Robinette and husband Lee of May, Mina Rodriguez and husband Samuel Jr. of May; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and her friends.
