Burns Lance Tongate, age 88 passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 6th, 2020.

A private family Graveside Service will be held at Greenleaf Cemetery.  A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood to be announced at a later date.  Services are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early. .

He is survived by his wife Billie, son Mark Tongate and wife Denise of Buckholts; daughters, Christie Tongate of Early, Suzanne Tongate-Carter and her husband Sammy of Mesquite; granddaughter Ashley Morgan Tongate of San Marcos.  Also, Sister in Law, Mary Sue Inglet and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood.
