On Tuesday August 25, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 14 positive COVID-19 test results, 7 negatives, and 2 recoveries. The 14 positive test results were PCR.

Two individuals were previously reported in the antigen case count, but have received PCR results, the preferred test method, and have been moved to the PCR positive case count to avoid duplication.

Brown County currently has 150 active cases and two hospitalizations.
