
Rain amounts from 2 to 4 inches were common over the KOXE listening area on Wednesday with more rain in the forecast through Thursday.

1 Mile South of Zephyr – 2.6 inches
CR 192 south of Bangs – 4 inches
Downtown Zephyr – 2.4 inches
East of the Coleman Airport – 3.3 inches
CR 180 in Bangs – 4.25 inches
1 mile southwest of Burkett in Coleman County 2.10 as of Wednesday morning.
1 mile east of Gustine – 3.6 inches
Highway 279 at Lake Brownwood – 2.8 inches
Just south of De Leon – 1.75 inches.
Creeks running bank full – including the Jim Ned Creek at Thrifty and the Pecan Bayou at Byrds Store. Lots of water is flowing into Lake Brownwood which was showing a steady rise Wednesday afternoon.
Here at KOXE, we measured 2.97 inches between midnight and 3:00 pm Wednesday.
More rain is likely going into Thursday.
