The Coleman PRCA Rodeo has been nominated again as a Top 5 Medium Rodeo of the Year in the nation. This is their 7th nomination. In addition, the following rodeo personnel worked at the Coleman rodeo this year and have also been nominated for awards in their respective categories.
- Stock Contractor of the Year – Stace Smith Pro Rodeos
- Secretary of the Year – Brenda Crowder
- Timer of the Year – Shawna Ray
- Pickup Man of the Year – Jason Bottoms
- Dress Act of the Year – Rider Kiesner & Bethany Iles
The winners will be announced at the PRCA Awards Banquet December 2nd, the night before the National Finals Rodeo begins at Arlington. Other nominees in Coleman’s category include rodeos in Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Burwell, Nebraska; Cave Creek, Arizona; and Guymon, Oklahoma. The Coleman PRCA Rodeo was one the first rodeos in the nation to Kick Open the Chutes in June with a record number of contestants. The 2021 Coleman PRCA Rodeo is June 10, 11 and 12.
