Brown County Commissioners met Monday morning, November 16, and voted to reinstate the Brown County Burn Ban immediately.

Citing ongoing dry conditions, and with limited potential for rain, the ban is now in effect.  It was noted, however, for those in the county who burn their own trash, you can still burn trash so long as it is in a barrel covered by a grate.
