On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 31 positive COVID-19 test results,  8 negative, and 15 recoveries.  There are currently 20 hospitalized in Brown County and 516 active cases.

Five deaths were reported: a female in her 80’s, a male in his 50’s, a male in his 70’s, a male in his 50’s none from nursing facilities, and one female in her 90’s from a nursing facility.
