The Brownwood City Council will hold a scheduled meeting at 8:30 am Tuesday, June 8, at City Hall.  Note the earlier meeting time.

The first item on the agenda is an Executive Session on Personnel matters – to discuss appointments of Parks & Recreation Director and Deputy City Manager.

From there the Council is scheduled to go into a regular meeting to consider confirmation of the City Manager’s appointment of Parks & Recreation Director and Deputy City Manager.

They will also consider ratification of the Brownwood Municipal Development District Board action to approve funding for a park improvement project at Wiggins Park not to exceed $50,000.  If approved this would add a child’s Playscape.

Another Executive Session is on the agenda to discuss Fire and Police meet and confer contracts.
