The Brownwood Fire Department responded to two calls Friday morning between 9 and 10 o’clock.

The first call was to a report of an overturned truck in the 2400 block of Milam Drive on the south side of town.  The truck came to rest partially in the road.  The driver did not appear to be injured.  Details of what caused the accident were not available at the scene.  As of this report law enforcement was waiting on a large wrecker to remove the truck from the roadway.

While at the accident scene, another call for service came in for the fire department concerning a vehicle on fire near Kohler (shown above).  Black smoke could be seen billowing.  The car fire was put out shortly before 10 o’clock this morning.
