What a way to kick off the 2021 football season!  The Early Longhorns and Bangs Dragons tee it up tonight at 7:30 pm at Longhorn Stadium in Early.  You can hear a broadcast of the game on KBWD 1380 AM, on KOXE.com and the KOXE App.  The broadcast begins at 7:15 pm with Michael Light and Jeff Baker.

Bangs and Early, both post season participants last year, are looking for repeat performances this fall.

Early is coming off a 5-6 campaign and first playoff berth since 2008. Meanwhile, Bangs posted a 9-2 record and advanced to the postseason for the second year in a row.

The Dragons return 11 of 25 lettermen including four offensive and three defensive starters – from last year’s squad.

The Longhorns welcome back 17 of 26 lettermen including eight starters on each side of the ball.

According to Harris Ratings Weekly, Bangs is a 15-point favorite.
