Thomas Joshua, 42, of Odessa passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Visitation will be held Friday September 3, at Greater Faith Community Church located at 417 Wesley St.  from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 4, at 11:00 am at Victory Life Church, Located at 901 CC Woodson Rd, Brownwood.

Thomas was born February 12, 1979 in Brownwood, TX to Theresa Hairston and Thomas Joshua Sr. Thomas received his primary education from Brownwood public school graduating in 1997.  During his time at Brownwood High School, Thomas excelled in Football and Superpower weight lifting.  After High School he attended Howard Payne University for two years before moving to Austin. Thomas was a friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand.  In His spare time, he loved to watch football and spend time with his niece and nephews.  Thomas started a career with Walmart and Worked with the company for 12+ years working his way up to his goal becoming a Store Manager in Seminole.

Thomas was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Kathleen Hairston and Samuel Hairston.Paternal Grandparents Clay Joshua and Annie Lee Joshua

Left to cherish his memories are: mother, Theresa Hairston of Plano, TX father Thomas Joshua Sr. of Diboll, TX. Brothers David Hairston of Plano, TX, Eric Joshua of Plano, TX Uncle and Aunt Samuel and Rita Hairston of Brownwood, TX, Uncle and Aunt Steven and Denise Hairston, Aunt Angela Hairston Alexander of Shreveport, La, Aunt Margo Everette of San Antonio, Tx, Aunt Leah Crooks of Shreveport, La, Aunt Jacquelin Paul of Shreveport, La, Aunt Ivy Tucker of Fort Washington, Maryland, Aunt Kaye Davis, Aunt Laverne Joshua of Diboll, Tx. A host of cousins; Tamia Joshua, Monique Joshua, Erica Joshua, Stephanie Joshua, all of Diboll, TX. Nephews Aaron Kamal Hairston, David John Hairston II, Matthew Ryan Hairston,Xavier Rocky Joshua, Mechi Nehemiah Joshua and Niece Henley Rose Hairston and a host of extended family and many friends.
