The Brownwood Lady Lions managed a win Tuesday night but it took overtime to do it. The final score was 67-58, the Lady Lions over the Lake Belton Lady Broncos before the home crowd at Warren Gym.  Next it’s tournament time in Hamilton on Thursday as the the Lady Lions play McGregor at 9:50 a.m. Brownwood is also slated to face Comanche at 12:30 p.m. Friday and Hamilton at 5:50 p.m. Friday, with the tournament concluding Saturday.

In the boys game, which was played in the Brownwood Coliseum, the Lions fell five points short, losing to Brock 87-82. Brock is rated #3 in the state in Class 3A. Brownwood will host the Dublin Lions this coming Friday night at 7:00 pm at Warren Gym.
