At 8:30 Wednesday morning a motorcycle accident was reported at Lake Brownwood, approximately 12 miles northwest of Brownwood.  The accident was at County Road 602 and Highway 279, near the Church of Christ.  The crash involved a man driving a motorcycle and a Ram 1500 pickup. The motorcycle appeared to have collided with the right rear of the pickup.

The cyclist was alert when placed into the ambulance to receive further medical treatment.   The DPS was at the scene investigating.

Lake Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Lifeguard EMS were also at the scene.
