Playoff Bound Lions Hand Stephenville District Loss

In an exciting game broadcast Tuesday night on KOXE, the first place Brownwood Lions showed why they are the top team in district with an 83-61 victory over Stephenville at a rocking Warren Gym.  The Lions (22-7, 6-0) have already clinched a playoff spot and are inching closer to a district championship, which they can secure no worse than a share of with a win at home against Glen Rose at 7 p.m. Friday.  Jakob Hataway again led the charge with 28 points trailed by Luke Moss and Bryson Monroe with 21 apiece, Weston Burns and Tristan Salinas with six each, Thad Hinds with five, and Hayden Noe and Ike Hall with two points apiece.
