Michael Crumling, 58, passed away on September 21, 2023, in Brownwood, TX. He was born on September 16, 1965, in Bethesda, MD. Mike spent most of his years in York, PA. and was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Mike was rich in personality, friendships, and love. He had a smile that could light up a room and made friends with anyone he encountered. Mike was known for his generosity, always willing to give the clothes off his back without a second thought. He cherished spending holidays with his family, especially Christmas. Mike had a deep love for his Pennsylvania roots and enjoyed his coffee on the porch overlooking the trees and mountains. Home is where the heart is, and Mike is home now.

He is survived by his mother, Beth Ellis of Brownwood, TX; sister, Dawn Taylor of Columbia, MD; niece, Kiara Taylor of Mansfield, TX; nephew, Brendan Taylor of Plano, TX; great-niece, Kaylah Taylor of Irving, TX; great-nephew, Brendan Taylor, Jr. of Irving, TX; cousins, Christine Dosch-Brate and Michelle Dosch-Prowell of Wrightsville, PA; and step-mother, Susan Smith of Greencastle, PA. Mike also leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Crumling of Hagerstown, MD. and grandparents Eugene and Lillian Crumling of Wrightsville.

Professionally, Mike was the Brands Manager at Performance Food Group, where he made a significant impact. Outside of work, Mike had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He enjoyed artwork, music, and engaging in intellectual discussions. However, his true passion was serving others, which he pursued through his years in the service and hospitality industry. Mike loved cooking and teaching others how to cook. He had a genuine curiosity and enjoyed engaging in conversations on any topic.

The viewing was previously held in Brownwood, Texas. The funeral arrangements were previously handled by Etzweiler Funeral Home, located in Wrightsville, PA.

Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His warm personality, generous spirit, and love for his family and friends will forever be remembered.
