Brownwood Lion 2024 graduate Gavin Brandstetter has been selected to the 2024 Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 4A All-Elite Team, and he will take part in the THSBCA All-Star Game Sunday, June 16 at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

The MVP of District 6-4A, Brandstetter batted .389 with one home run, 10 RBIs, two doubles, and two triple in league play. On the mound, Brandstetter posted a 3-1 record with a 2.18 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 35.1 innings.

The Lions finished with an 11-1 district mark, 24-8-1 overall record and reached the second rounds of the playoffs.
