On November 27, 2024, our heavenly Father called Eden Rodriguez to stand beside him. Eden was born to Frederico and Francisca A. Almaguer in San Saba, Texas on March 5, 1942.

Eden grew up in San Saba where he graduated from San Saba High School, went to college at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

He served in the Army, and finished college at North Texas University in Denton, Texas with an Industrial Arts degree. He taught high school for some time in Dallas then moved to El Paso, Texas. In 1983 he married Daisy Irene Larson, Rodriguez. Eden worked many years in civil service, including the County of El Paso.

Eden is survived by his sister Elisa (Alice) Pirozzo, her husband Sam, their daughter and his stepchildren, Brenda Delgado and Norman Larson, his half-brother and half-sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Rodriguez, parents, Federico and Francisca A. Rodriguez, stepbrother David G. Rodriguez (Betty), sisters, Elida Botello (John D.), and Esther Patton (Raymond).

There will be a small viewing held on Wednesday, December 11 in El Paso, Texas at Hillcrest West as well as a visitation Saturday, December 14, in San Saba, Texas at 1 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home and a Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. directly after the visitation. Eden will be laid to rest in the San Saba Cemetery beside his mom and dad.
