
Michael shared a birth date with Pres. Lincoln. He cared for all the people that God put into his life; protected others & stood up for many, like his bro Scott, who was disabled enabling him to become more independent before Michael left PA where he grew up. He could discuss any subject, & was ever expanding his mind with education in many avenues. He was a Patriot & he loved his country, America, served in the Coast Guard, loading torpedoes, & the command he was with aided the marines, when asked for assistance, during the last days of the Vietnam war.
Michael, in his life time has been a fireman/1st responder; long haul truck driver; construction worker where he became a foreman because of his skills, & ability to get things done timely; he also worked at a ski resort (Mt Wm’s. Flagstaff Ski Resort) & aided in the rescue of rock climbers, skiers, & hikers who were in trouble; & built/ repaired/remodeled houses.
Michael played guitar in a Blue Grass band; he loved all types of music; painting; nature; could talk with the animals, & they did what he asked them to; hunting, hiking, skiing, cooking, computers & electronics, fixing vehicles & lawn mowers, anything he put his mind to, & gardening, & more.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Camp Bowie Memorial Park in Brownwood under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM, In honor of Michael’s service in the United State Coast Guard.
