Five from Bangs sign to continue athletic, academic careers

On Monday at Dragon Memorial Stadium, five members of the Bangs High School Class of 2025 signed to continue their athletic and academic careers.

Those who signed Monday include Ella Reeves, who is headed to Howard Payne University to cheer; Aden Jones, who is bound for Schreiner University in track and field; Julianna Ethridge, who will attend Ranger College and play softball; Abby Wolf, who will venture to North Central Texas College and compete in softball; and Kasey Solis, who will participate in track and field at McMurry University.

Jones is a two-time area champion in the 300-meter hurdles, was a member of a district championship 4×100 relay team, competed at area in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays; and ran at state in the 4×200 relay. Solis is coming off a state silver medal effort in the triple jump and bronze medal effort in the long jump; Wolf was named District 8-2A Pitcher of the Year of in 2025; Ethridge was a first-team all-district catcher this spring; and Reeves has been a cheerleader for six years dating to junior high.
