A memorial service for Mike Kiselwick, age 71, of Lake Brownwood, will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Chapman officiating.

Mike passed from this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home, surrounded by family.

Michael Fowler Kiselwick was born on December 24, 1953, in Electra, Texas, to Betty Ann (Skipworth) and Dave Maurice Kiselwick.  Mike was raised in Electra and graduated from Electra High School in 1972.  While at EHS, Mike found success on the football field where he was named All-State in 1971, All-District in 1971 and 1972, and Mr. EHS in 1972.  He went on to play football for two years at West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M University) before returning to Electra.

Mike married Keitha Dean Sales on June 27, 1975, in Electra.

Mike’s professional career began with Palmer Well Service in Post, 1976-1978, C E Natco in Snyder, 1978-1982, Texaco and Chevron for 27 years before retiring to go into his own business consulting for workovers, drilling, fishing jobs, and plugging wells.  He was a consultant to Oxy out of New Mexico and Midland before retiring in 2020.

Mike treasured his faith, family, and fishing.  He enjoyed painting fishing lures and family vacations.  He and Keitha rode many miles on their motorcycles as members of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Fellowship Freedom Riders #284 Chapter in Midland. 

Mike is survived his wife of nearly 50 years, Keitha Kiselwick of Lake Brownwood; two daughters, Micah Gray and husband Brian and Deanna Hinojosa and husband Gilbert; six grandchildren, Michael Morgan and wife Ashley, Gilbert Hinojosa, Johnna Morgan, David Hinjosa, Brayden Gray, and Bryce Gray; a great-granddaughter Palmer Morgan, and a sister Lorie Gibson.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Deborah Ann Kiselwick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Solaris Hospice or to MD Anderson Cancer Center
