It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Ferrer, a cherished member of our community. Remembered for his kindness, integrity, and generosity, his life touched all who knew him.
Martin was born July 2, 1990, in Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose Ferrer and Herminia Ramirez. He is the fifth child of eight in his family.
A dedicated student, Martin graduated from high school in Mexico. During his lifetime, he learned the value of hard work and education. He made sure his family learned these valuable lessons too and taught his children commitment, dedication, and generosity through his example.
Martin met his wife, Martha Chavarria Ferrer through friends in San Saba, TX. Together they raised a family in this tight-knit community. Here, they found joy in family gatherings, friendships, and the community. Their home was a place of comfort and welcome, filled with love, conversation, and cherished memories.
His community involvement and acts of kindness made a lasting impact. Always the first to lend a helping hand, Martin loved his neighbors and was a true example of Christlike love to everyone around him.
Martin is survived by his loving wife, Martha Chavarria Ferrer, their daughters, Daniella Ferrer, Josie Dawson and fiancé Josh, and Bianca Romero and husband John, his son, Daniel Zavala, ten grandchildren, his mother Herminia Ramirez Ferrer, his siblings Ivan Ferrer, Maria Ferrer, Marina Ferrer, Toña Ferrer, Guadalupe Ferrer, and Miguel Arcila and countless family and friends who will miss him dearly.
