20-year sentence for possession with intent to deliver among those handed down in district court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Tuesday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Richard Wayne Humphries pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Hunter Lane Shields aka Hunter Rogers-Shields pled guilty to the felony offense of Obstruction of Justice and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
