Bobbie Jo Jones was born on April 22, 1933 and passed from this life on September 29, 2025.  A graveside service for Bobbie will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, October 3, at Blanket Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Mott and husband Brad and Lynnette Payne and husband Jerry.  Five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Lee “Tut” Jones, her parents Oscar Jones and Norene Balch.  Two brothers, Johnny and Sam “Dub” Jones.

Bobbie accepted Jesus as her Lord and savior at 13 years of age.  She married Tut Jones in January 1951.  They were married for 66 years.  Tut and Bobbie served the Lord together in various churches that he pastored until retiring in 2000.

Bobbie taught Sunday school and served in many ways in the church.

She fed numerous young preacher boys who always were at their house through the years. And would always give gospel tracks out anywhere she could.
