Maria D. Fleming, age 74, of Santa Anna, TX passed away on November 18, 2025, resting comfortably with her family by her side, surrounded in love and grace. She was born on July 4, 1951, in SaaCn Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Julián and Catalina Rodríguez.

Maria lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She carried a gentle spirit, a strong heart, and a deep love for the people around her. She adored her family, cherished her friends, and brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. Maria was a woman of resilience, strength, and devotion — always giving, always loving, and always putting others first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julián and Catalina Rodríguez; her siblings Jesús, Ricardo, Damián, Pimenia, Amparo, and María (who passed earlier this year). She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years, Charlie Ray Fleming; her step-son, Leslie Ray Fleming; her father- and mother-in-law, Charlie and Thelma Fleming; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Sikes.

Maria is survived by her sisters, Elia Perez, Margarita Rodríguez, and Tomasa Rodríguez; her step-son, Christopher Ray Fleming and wife Christine; her granddaughters, McKenna Fleming, Isabella Ford and husband Zane, and Taylor Fleming; and her grandsons, Ryan Fleming and Reece Kidder. She also leaves behind her nephews and niece — Louie Melena, Erik Melena, and Elisabeth Melena — as well as many other nieces, .nephews, extended family members, and friends in both Texas and Mexico who loved her deeply

Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 9:00 till 10:30 am at Cleveland Church.  A committal service will follow and she  will be laid to rest in Cleveland Cemetery in Coleman, Texas, beside her beloved husband Charlie Ray, honoring her wishes and her love for family and home.

Services are under the care and direction of the Staff of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.

Her legacy will live on in the family she loved, the countless lives she touched, and the memories cherished by all who knew her.
