GATESVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions completed a 3-0 weekend run at the Gatesville soccer tournament Saturday with victories over Hillsboro and Robinson.

In an 8-0 victory over Hillsboro, Kynlie Lewis recorded a hat trick with three goals, Madison Weckwerth contributed a pair, and Amerie De La Paz, Hollyn Duncan and Gale Balfour scored one each.

Tallying assists were Bella Garza, Joclyn Salazar, Autumn Reeves, De La Paz and Balfour.

In the 1-0 win over Robinson, Kynlee Jefferson scored the game’s lone goal with an assist from Galvan.

The Lady Lions (3-1) play again next weekend at the Fort Worth Castleberry tournament, facing Kennedale and Castleberry Friday and Fort Western Hills Saturday.
