Floyd Wesley Killough, 96, of Midlothian, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 16, 2026. The family will host a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, January 30, 2026 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Services for Floyd will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Heartland Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Floyd Wesley Killough was born to James Washington and Pearl Pressly Killough on December 1, 1929 in Muleshoe, TX. He grew up during the depression and attended Owens and Muleshoe Public Schools. He met and married Ola Ellen Bush on December 20th, 1946. Their union blessed them with two children and almost 75 years together. Floyd was led to the Lord and baptized on May 20, 1956 at Southwayside Baptist Church where he attended and served until he and Ola moved to Rising Star, Texas around 1985. Floyd and Ola served the Lord at Union Centre Baptist Church until health issues prohibited their participation. House bound, they worshiped at home via TV and daily reading of the Bible.

Floyd is survived by his brother Warner Thomas Killough and wife Martha of Weatherford; daughter Linda Sue Jones of Arlington; son Wendell Steve Killough and wife Judy of Midlothian; grandchildren Jared Jones and wife Kara of Arlington, Krista Robers of Forth Worth, Elise Gonzales of Fort Worth, Chris McHam of Austin; great grandchildren William, Wesley, Yujung, Raeleigh, Penelope, Kaden, Kensington, and Kyla; as well as many nephews, nieces, church family and friends.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, and 12 siblings.
