He had a deep affection for his job and took immense pride in the relationships he cultivated with his colleagues, often seen as a pillar of support and camaraderie within the workplace.

Family was at the heart of Torreon’s life. He cherished special moments spent together, where laughter filled the air during game nights, especially when gathered around a chessboard, playing a game of 42, or Rummikub. His comforting nature extended to his passions outside of family time; Torreon was recognized for his green thumb, finding joy in tending to his yard and garden, where he created a flourishing space that reflected his love of life and nature.

Torreon is survived by his father, Jimmy Ray Martin and wife Deana, his mother, Norma Kay Underwood Gandy and husband Ronny, and his children, Cameron Scott Martin and wife Mildred, Kayla Belle Haynes and husband DJ, Jordan Ashley Martin, and Veronica Johnson and husband Michael. Torreon also leaves behind his siblings, Tracie Benoit and wife Wanda, Annabeth Martin, Tabitha Gandy, Cody Gandy, and Toby Gandy and wife Carmella. Torreon is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved immensely.

He is preceded in death by his son, William Barret Martin; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Lucille Martin; and his maternal grandparents, Norman and Ila Belle Underwood.
