LUBBOCK – The Brownwood Lions golf team placed 15th in the field of 25 teams at the Region I-4A tournament at Shadow Hills Golf Course Friday and Saturday.
The Lions posted a 673 team score, opening with a round of 322 Friday followed by a 351 on Saturday. Competing for Brownwood were Will Stewardson (76-84=160), Peyton Sharp (78-89=167), Layton Kemp (83-94=177), Sheriff Jones (85-84=169), Layton Kemp (83-94=177), and Ryker Calvert (98-94=192).
The Lions are back in action Monday at Wimberley.
