The district, bi-district and area champion Brownwood Lady Lions soccer team, which completed its most successful season in program history, received 15 all-district accolades from the coaches of 5-4A.

Superlative award winners included Offensive MVP and Golden Boot winner Nylah Hall. The Golden Boot goes to the player who scores the most goals in district competition, and Hall finished with seven goals to go along with four assists.

The Freshman MVP and Silver Boot winner, which goes to the player with the most assists in district, was earned by Alayna Hernandez, who tallied eight assists as well as four goals.

The Midfield MVP for 2026 was Madison Weckwerth as she recorded six goals and six assists, while the Co-Offensive Newcomer of the Year was Ailean Palacios with four goals and four assists, and Co-Defensive Newcomer of the Year was Kynlee Jefferson with five goals and two assists.

Landing on the first-team from Brownwood were Rebekkah Delgado, Khloe Galvan, Icess Hall, and Nixon Johnson.

Second-team selections included Gale Balfour, Isabella Garza, and Kynlie Lewis.

Receiving honorable mention were Amerie De La Paz, Emily Diaz, and Autumn Reeves

Lady Lions who earned academic all-district status were Alena Bernal, Amerie De La Paz, Hannah Deen, Rebekkah Delgado, Emily Diaz, Hollyn Duncan, Khloe Galvan, Isabella Garza, Nylah Hall, Icess Hall, Alayna Hernandez, Kynlee Jefferson, Nixon Johnson, Kynlie Lewis, and Madison Weckwerth.

The Lady Lions finished with their best single-season record at 18-4-1, went 7-1 in district to share the league title with Stephenville, and matched their deepest playoff run with a trip to the regional semifinals under the direction of head coach Alexis Mosqueda Walker.
