Early Police Blotter

The following are a list of calls responded to by the Early Police Department between April 24-30. Reports courtesy of EPD Chief David Mercer.

04/30 Animal Complaint – 200 Blk Crescent – snake in front porch

Unwanted person – 200 Blk Sunnydale. Option provided. Suspect left

Citizens dispute – 100 Blk Early bLvd. Subjects fighting in parking lot.

Suspicious – 600 Blk Early Blvd. Officer found gate open to business during night. Keyholder contacted

Welfare check – 200 Blk East Hall court. Crisis line requested officer check welfare of female subject

04/29 Animal at Large – 100 Blk Garmon.

Reckless Driver – North Hwy 183. Officers checked the area, unable to locate

Accident, Agency assist – CR 334. 1 vehicle rollover. I injury. Lifeguard transported

Medical Emergency – 200 Blk Park Dr. Lifeguard transported

Domestic Disturbance – 7000 Blk Hwy 183 N. Agency assist with BCSO. Subject resisted officers, taser deployed 2 times. Subject arrested and taken to BCSO jail.

Suspicious – 900 Blk Terraha Dr. Someone banging on the door. Officer checked the area.

 

04/28 Parking violations – city park. Citations issued

Found Property – 500 Blk Early BLvd. Found wallet

Loose Livestock – Hwy 183/CR 334. Agency Assist

Theft – agency assist. Caller car was burglarized in Brownwood. Keys were stolen. Requested officer to check callers house. Officer checked the area. all ok. Will patrol by

Suspicious – 130 Sudderth. 2 teenagers acting suspiciously. Officer unable to locate

Parking violations – City Park. Citations issued

Traffic stop – 1800 BLk Early BLvd. Drug paraphernalia found. Citations issued.

Weapons offense – mistletoe drive. Caller heard gunshots. Shots coming from behind property in County. Unable to locate source.

Parking violations – city park – citations issued

Reckless Driver – CC Woodson – vehicle struck several objects now driving on rim damaging highway. Airbags deployed on vehicle. Multiple agencies responding to located vehicle. DPS stopped vehicle, arrested DWI driver.

Agency assist BPD, Domestic Disturbance – All Brownwood Units tied up. Officers responded to assist with call. Scene held for BPD to arrive

Suspicious – 200 Blk Eastover Drive. Someone knocking on doors

 

04/27 Hit-Run – 900 Blk Early BLvd. vehicle hit concrete barriers on Hwy 183 south. Medical requested for driver.

Reckless Driver – South Hwy 183. Vehicle weaving on hwy. vehicle located and checked. Subject checked ok

Assault – 900 Blk Early BLvd. Early Primary school. No one wanted to file charges

Agency assist – Probation search. Subject Steven Victor Hudson violation of probations, possession of weapons and marijuana. Second subject possession of drug paraphernalia Steven Paul Hudson also arrested

Reckless Driver – East Hwy 377. 18 wheeler weaving on highway. Truck located and stopped. No issues.

Parking violation – City Park. Citations issued

Reckless driver – 300 Blk Early bLvd. vehicle almost hit guard rail. Officer unable to locate.

 

04/26 Disorderly Conduct – 100 Blk Ross Drive. Subject acting. Subject given criminal trespass warning and left.
Abandon Vehicle – 100 Blk Northline Drive – vehicle red tagged

Civil Matter – 700 Blk Garmon Dr. Options given

Civil Matter – 200 Blk Hillcrest. Caller had question about a matter. Options given

 

04/25 medical emergency – 200 Blk Northline Dr. Air Evac transported

Suspicious – 300 Blk Lucus. Vehicle in ditch. Vehicle tried turning around, got stuck in the ditch

Hit and Run Accident – 100 Blk Early BLvd. suspect vehicle yellow 18 wheeler. Vehicle located and stopped in Zephyr

Civil Matter – 200 Blk Hillcrest. Options given

Criminal Mischief – 1000 Blk Early BLvd. caller stated someone tied female sanitary product to her car and tied a rag with urine on it to mirror

Civil Matter – 900 BLk Early Blvd. caller had questions about child that ran away. Options provided

 

04/24 Suspicious call Agency assist– CR 334/Hwy 377. Caller stated female walking in the ditch tried to flag him down. Officers unable to locate

Disorderly Conduct – 1300 Blk Early Blvd. male and female visiting their child then acting inappropriately. Male got belligerent and walked away. Officers located male and issued Disorderly conduct citation and advised not to return

Medical Emergency – 130 Sudderth. Lifeguard Transported
Unwanted Person – 1100 Blk Early BLvd. suspect struggled with officers, pursuit began causing an accident. Subject arrested on Ave H in Brownwood.

Civil standby – 700 Blk Gorman Dr.
Dog running loose – 100 Bonnie Ave. aggressive dog. Owner located

Weapons Offense – 100 Blk Greentree Circle. Caller stated someone shot a pellet gun in their direction. Unknown where it came from. Officer checked the area, unable to locate the shooter

Domestic Disturbance – 130 Sudderth Dr. Neighbor called in disturbance in an apartment. When officer arrived and began investigating the disturbance officers observed marijuana laying in plain view. Both male and female arrested for possession of marijuana. Assault report taken and will be investigated.
