Ernest Lee Jackson Jr., 48, of  Coleman, passed from this life August 24, 2018 at 10:25 a.m. in his residence. Services will be September 1 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Jerry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at the Coleman City Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home in Coleman. Visitation will be August 31 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home.

Ernest was born June 3, 1970 in Coleman to Ernest Lee and Georgette Sweed Jackson. He attended the Coleman ISD and later the Austin ISD school. Ernest was a lifelong resident of Coleman and a member of the Baptist Church and worked in lawn care and landscaping.

Ernest was preceded in death by his mother Georgette Jackson Mayberry in 1996
