Charles Shockey, 65, of May, passed away at his home December 7, 2018 with his family by his side. Charles was born November 11, 1953 in Seattle, Washington to Wade and Ruth Shockley. Charles received his primary education in Seattle. He joined the United States Army and was a tank sergeant. He lived in Fannin County for many years before moving to May in 2016. Charles was preceded in death by parents Wade and Ruth Shockley.

Left to cherish his memory are sons Charles and wife Summer; Mark Lee and wife Nikki; Nate and wife Jennifer; Chris; Clifton Schockley  and wife Robin; daughters, Lisa Lowe and husband Cliff, Wendy Flynn and husband Scott, Jennifer Heath and husband Casey; grandchildren Gavin Fuentes and wife Kenna, Kaeli, Dylan, Carson, Brayden, Addy Lee, K.K. Lee, Lily, Raelynn, Layna and one great-grandchild, Kayden. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
