Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report (March 18 and 19)

On Friday, March 15, 2019, at approximately 1525 hours,
Deputy Hammonds #126, was dispatched to Old Coleman Rd,
Brownwood, TX 76801. This was on a report of a stolen
firearm. A report was made.

On March 16, 2019, at approximately 23:38, Deputy Jose
Rodriguez, was dispatched to W US 67 in Bangs, Texas.
This was in regards to a welfare check. After further
investigation, signs of a physical altercation were
present and a report was made for Assault Family
Violence.

On Friday, March 15, 2019, at approximately 1031 hours,
Deputy Hammonds, was dispatched to the Flagship Inn, Hwy
279, Brownwood, TX 76801. This was in reference to an
ongoing problem with people filling up the dumpster at
the Flagship Inn without the owner’s permission. A report
was made.

On March 17, 2019, at approximately 2:17 am, Deputy Jose
Rodriguez, was dispatched to the S US Hwy 183. This was
in regards to a male subject walking on foot, who was
intoxicated. The male subject was ultimately arrested for
Public Intoxication.

On March 17, 2019, at approximately 4:23 am, Deputy Jose
Rodriguez, was dispatched to Oak Point Dr in May, Texas.
This was in regards to an assault, which occurred between
a male and female. After further investigation, the male
subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence
w/Previous Conviction, F3.

On Saturday, March 16, 2019, at approximately 10:41,
Deputy Scotty Burke #124, spoke with the complainant, who
stated the suspect had hit him in the back of the head at
his house. The report will follow.

On Sunday, March 17, 2019, at approximately 9:45 a.m.,
Deputy Scotty Burke #124, located a dump site. Several items had been dumped.

On Sunday, March 17, 2019, at approximately 10:48
a.m.,Deputy Scotty Burke #124, met with the complainant
at the LEC. This was in reference to issuing a trespass
warning for her property. The suspect was located and
issued the warning for the property. The report will
follow.

On 3/17/2019, Cpl. Taylor Fletcher, responded to W. Main
Blvd. in response to an unintelligible phone call. Upon
arriving on scene, the man advised he had not eaten in
days and conditions in his house were unfit to live in.
He was transported to the hospital by EMS and Adult
Protective Services was contacted.

On 3/18/2019,Corporal Taylor Fletcher, met with a woman
at the Law Enforcement Center. She reported her husband
had been driving her 2005 Chevy Tahoe, without
permission, the day prior when he fled Brownwood Police.
