Painter & Johnson Associates and staff presented a $1,000 donation to Brown County Sheriff, Vance Hill, to help refurbish the SWAT armored vehicle recently obtained by Brownwood Police Department from the Mansfield Police Department. The vehicle will be used by the joint Brownwood/Brown County SWAT Team for tactical operations, the rescue or evacuation of civilians from dangerous situations or flooding, community outreach events, and many other events. There is also a T-Shirt fundraiser in progress. Funds received during the T-shirt campaign will be used for the restoration, outfitting and updating of the vehicle. Donations may also be made directly to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office to assist with the fundraising efforts.
