The man who lead McCulloch and Coleman County law enforcement on a high speed chase, then wrecked his SUV, survived the wreck and disappeared, has been arrested in Vernon, Texas. According to Coleman County Sheriff, Les Cogdill, Justin Harley Rojas was arrested by the Vernon Police Department on Sunday, March 24, 2019 on a warrant for evading arrest or detention out of Coleman County. Bond was set at $30,000 by Coleman County Justice of the Peace, Jeff Nash. Rojas is being housed at the Wilbarger County Jail and will be extradited back to Coleman later this week, Cogdill said. Rojas had been at large since the incident on Saturday, March 16. He wrecked his vehicle in east Coleman near the Martin Luther King Bridge. A search ensued immediately afterwards on the east side of Coleman but Rojas managed freedom for just over a week. Vernon is 200 miles north of Coleman.
