The following Brownwood Police Report was released on Tuesday, March 26.

On Thursday, March 21, 2019 at approximately 1731 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 2700 Block of Elizabeth Drive in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant who advised their vehicle had been burglarized. A report has been made.

On Monday, March 25, 2019 at approximately 0827 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 3500 Block of 4th Street in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.

On March 25, 2019 Brownwood PD was dispatched to a north Brownwood business in regards to a customer leaving the store with items they did not pay for which resulted in a female taken into custody for theft.

On March 25, 2019 at 2049 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to the HPU Campus in reference to a burglary of a vehicle that had occurred at the Southside Village Apartments at 2801 Southside Drive. A backpack containing a laptop was reported to be stolen from the unsecured vehicle. A report was taken.
